Q. Who can buy a medication kit?

A. Our medication kits are designed for people travelling in isolated environments - tramping, blue ocean sailing, third world travel or those preparing for a disaster. We required that:

a. you are a resident of Australia or NZ

b. over 18 years of age

c. comply with our ID and health questionnaire requirements

d. and complete an initial consultation and have a demonstrated requirement for one of the above reasons


Q. When does the kit expire?

A. Two years from date of supply. While some individual items within the kit may expiry short of the two year date, we are happy to support the medications use in an emergency situation when no alternative is available. The medications we include in the medication kits do not become dangerous after they expiry, but they will lose potency over time, but not significantly within the 2 year time frame.


Q. Can I replace individual expired items after 2 years?

A. No, The entire kit will need to be replaced after that time. We offer a 20% discount on replacements.


Q. I have used a single item from my kit. Can the single item be replaced.

A. Yes, provided it has resulted in a Telehealth consultation prior or shortly after use we will replace the item for the single item cost + courier fees.



PRICING OPTIONS



The standard medication kit is $ 490.00 NZD.

There are different charges for additional products which will be quoted following your consultation.

The kit comes with a single telemedicine consult to support the safe use of the medications - 24/7. There is also the option of 2 email support consultations over 24 months, one of our doctors will make contact with you and answer your questions within 24hrs by email.


There are three additional telemedicine options available with each kit:


1. Telephone support and callback from one of our doctors within 24 hrs - max of 2 consults in 24 months. $240 NZD / 12 months

2. Immediate telephone support from one of our doctors 24/7 - max of 2 consults in 24 months. $480 NZD / 12 months.

3. Full telemedicine service - 24/7 service - contact us for a formal quote. Choose Telehealth from the menu for more information.


Note this is not a general practice telemedicine service. This is an urgent care or emergency service and designed to support the safe and appropriate use of our medication kits and is not an alternative for the case of regular family doctor or urgent care centre.
